The Founding Members Club pre-sale for Split Hero is nearly here and I wanted to let you know some fundamental changes to Split Hero (for the better), the time the sale will go live, and what the plan will include.
Over the past 2 weeks, we've been working hard behind the scenes on the dashboard so we can demo it to you. We still have some way to go but we are right on track.
During the development of the dashboard and looking at the underlying way the platform will work we've decided to pivot slightly.
It was always my goal to make Split Hero work with every CMS out there as we were just asking users to drop in our JS to set up Split Hero on their site, however, as a phase 1 release this isn't going to be possible. What we are doing is going to be initially focusing all our efforts on WordPress. Instead of a snippet of JS, you'd just install our plugin and connect it to your Split Hero account using your account API Key. You can still use any Page Builder you like.
The reasons why we have done this change:
Creates a better end-user experience (the redirects with JS were nasty).
Faster. As your server will handle the redirects sent out through our plugin connection it's only our JS that calls to our server meaning minimal impact on your load times.
Your user experience. The campaign setup process is more user-friendly as we dynamically pull in all your posts and pages from your WordPress site and you select these on a dropdown during campaign setup leading to no typos etc.
Future features. Having Split Hero work this way allows us to add more features, easier, as development progresses.
